Bug Update: Activation Email Resolved

As noted in the previous post, the activation email to verify your account either weren't being sent or the link was not activating the account.
This problem should now be resolved and people can being to sign up again. Please contact us if you continue to have this issue or any other issues. As far as those who already signed up but could not activate their account, we will be contacting those users over the next few days with an option to re-verify their account.

Upcoming 2009 Holiday Updates

We would like our users to be aware that although we have not updated our blog in some time, Direct LifeStyle is still kicking! Currently we are preparing on releasing a status update feature similar to Twitter and Facebook for our users' profiles.

We are also happy to announce that we will be releasing a feature to our users' profiles that will enable our users to sumbit an rss feed to their profiles which then will submit stories from the feed automatically to Direct LifeStyle.

As time progresses we stride to have our users' profiles become more interactive with other users of our community as well as other online communities.

Change in Categories

Over the next few days we are going to be changing our categories and re-locating stories, thus renaming some of our members story links. In the future, we plan to have our categories sort by news, articles, videos and images. This change is nessecery while our site is still young, rather than wait at a later time when it is too late. We apologize if this change causes any inconvenience to our members, but we feel this change will later benefit our site and members. The good news is that new stories are made everyday in this world and there is plenty to share on Direct LifeStyle.
